The Plush No Choke Air Mesh Vest Harness is designed to keep your dachshund secure, comfy and stylish.
Velcro, a clip lock and reflective strips make the harness extra secure and the breath-easy material and inner cushioning make it super comfortable to wear. But best of all it features a Never Choke design that distributes all the pulling forces over your dachshunds chest, keeping the stresses away from the delicate throat and, preventing the harness from choking and damaging the vocal chords if your dog pulls on the leash.
Developed for easy wear and high comfort, this harness is completely hassle free. Simply (1) have your doxie step in; (2) pull up the sides, secure the Velcro straps and clip it closed on top with the one-button click lock; (3) clip your leash through the two overlapping D-rings and you're on your way!
HOW TO MEASURE:
To get an accurate chest measurement your doxie should be standing (not sitting or lying down). Measure the chest circumference directly behind the front legs and take a snug measurement. Please refer to the photo diagram above which is included with the product photos.*
Extra Small: Chest circumference 13" - 15", Weight 7 to 11 lbs
Small: Chest circumference 15" - 17", Weight 11 to 15 lbs
Medium: Chest circumference 17" - 19", Weight 15 to 19 lbs
Large: Chest circumference 19" - 21", Weight 18 to 25 lbs
Extra Large: Chest circumference 21" - 24", Weight 25 to 40 lbs
*The chest measurement is the most important. For example, a doxie with an 18" girth weighing 14 lbs would wear a M as the chest measurement is a size M even though the weight is a size S. If your doxie is at the highest number of the chest measurement it's generally a good idea to size up. The harness should fit snug but not tight. The sizes listed are best estimates as each dachshund has a unique and different chest shape. But you can order with confidence as we ship exchanges for free and cheerfully accept returns. Returns must, however, be in new condition.
