Our lives revolve around the long, low and irresistible. What's Up Dox began in 2006 when we came up with a few dachshund designs as a way to raise money for Florida Dachshund Rescue. As demand for our Wiener Wear continued to grow we quit our corporate day jobs, jumped off the cliff into entrepreneurship and What's Up Dox Dachshund Shoppe was born.
Our business philosophy is simple: to provide Dachshund aficionados and Dachshunds with fun, unique, quality products while providing stellar customer service. All of the items featuring our original artwork are exclusive to What's Up Dox. You won't find them anywhere else but here on our website and in our Etsy shop.
We design, print and embroider all of our items right here in Florida. We screen print using plasitol inks for artwork that is vibrant and long lasting. Each item you order is hand pressed and packed with care before being sent on it's way to you.
We also enjoy supporting the arts and carry a few select products from other independent artists to provide our customers with innovative and creative items that you won't find at any of the big box retailers.
We are active in the dachshund rescue community and also volunteer for Touch of Grey, an all breed senior dog rescue. We support rescue organizations nationwide. The models you see throughout our website are our 9 rescue wieners extraordinaire: Donovan, Henry, Louie, Stewie, Oscar, Charlie, Jacob, Heidi Lou Who and Vinnie. Sadly, some of them are now getting into mischief at the Rainbow Bridge but their spirits and attitudes live on in our hearts and imbue our product designs with silliness and spunk.
Many of our customers have become a part of our extended family as we share laughs at wiener antics, concerns over medical issues and grief when one of our beloved goes to the Bridge.
